A digital platform for a changing business district
Eastern City BID represents one of the most dynamic parts of the Square Mile – a place defined by global finance, evolving work culture and a growing demand for experiences beyond the traditional 9–5. IXN was commissioned to design and build a website that would showcase the area, support BID initiatives and reposition Eastern City as an engaging, inclusive and future-facing destination.
Our focus was to create a high-impact digital platform that connects people with place, promotes local businesses and drives footfall, while providing a clear operational hub for BID-specific content and communications.
Immersive experiences that bring the district to life
To reflect the unique character of Eastern City, we built a bespoke WebGL 3D mapping experience that allows users to explore the district spatially, turning navigation into discovery. This was supported by an interactive directory that makes it easy to find businesses, services and places of interest.
A dynamic day and night mode adapts the website’s look and content to reflect daytime business activity and the evening economy, while a dedicated BID information area provides a structured space for initiatives, resources and stakeholder communications.
